![]() We live in a society obsessed with decency and covered in shame. Many years ago, I began asking the question, could decency and shame be linked in some way? At the time, this question seemed radical. After all, I was a young Christian man who had been programmed to see through a very narrow lens; from the moment I was born I was taught right and wrong. As an infant I drank from the breast of my mother and ate from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. I conformed to a very narrow view of societal morality and would grow up fighting to protect it. My idea of decency was shaped by a small community church of no more than 100 in a small town of 15 thousand. And then one day freedom came knocking on my door and I was bold enough to answer. Freedom came with the question, “who told you that you were naked?” I would spend the next 10 to 15 years unpacking this question! This question would ultimately lead me to a beautiful place of realization and to more radical questions. Like, who is the ‘I’ that is naked or clothed? Am I the body? If I’m not the body, then who am I and why am I ashamed of the body? These questions would ultimately liberate me from the prison of form. It is imperative to stop at this point and ask the following questions, do I believe I am the body? In other words, am I identified as the body? Have you ever experienced shame regarding body image? If there were no cameras or mirrors, would you feel the same way about your body as you currently do? If there where no Sports Illustrated body issue’s or Victoria Secret commercials, would you still feel the same way about your body? If we identify in the body and allow the actions of the body to define us, we will be limited in expression. Fighting to protect the thing we believe we are, be it male or female; Muslim, Jew, or Christian; mother or father; husband or wife. We will build walls around us, but instead of using brick and mortar, we use morality and law. These walls, that are thought of as protection, end up imprisoning us. But if you tear down the walls of societal decency, morality, and religious law, you will be tossed out as an outcast. This is the inevitable crux of the revelation…do I or don’t I live in freedom even though it may cost me everything? But if you’re not the body, who is the one capable of such losses? Who is the one clinging to possessions, titles, reputation? Aren’t these things just concepts? The freedom that flows from letting go of concepts and their baggage is tremendous. It opens us up to experience the moment in ways you never thought were possible when living under the invisible prison of decency and shame. Every journey begins with a single step. Beginning the journey of letting go is no different. It begins with the single step of yielding the mind to the possibility of being wrong. The three words I’m about to teach you will begin the transformation. These three words hold in them the power of surrender. The three words are: I DON’T KNOW. By simply saying I don’t know, you are learning to surrender the need to be right. This is powerful! So if your ready to take the first step towards freedom, wake up each morning with the mantra of I don’t know.

To be present is to experience every moment as born again. Now is all that is; it’s not a catch phrase or temporal drug induced state, it’s an infinitely undefinable oneness. It’s not the experience of oneness, it is Oneness! Let go of your own understanding and sink into the Space of Self beyond personal narrative. It’s the simple realization that the story you’ve been believing about yourself is but a layered hallucination; a perceptual experience of something not present. These hallucinations can be ecstatic when experienced in the transcendent state of Pure Awareness. In this Reality, personal narrative is like a fog, it’s indefinably present; taking on the shape of whatever peak or valley it encounters, only to fade away into the Nothingness it descended from. Unless a man be born again, he will not experience the Kingdom of Heaven! This Heavenly manifestation does not come with observation, it flows from the Inner Space of the Eternal Now. Here in this moment as a leaf gliding through the air to its resting place on the forest floor while simultaneously playing as lovers so caught up in sexual delight you can’t tell where one begins and the other ends. This is the pleasure of Being...of Awareness...of the Eternal Now...of the Kingdom of Heaven.
Take two steps backwards from the personal narrative and observe how you’ve allowed your past to define your present. Who you believe you are is now nothing more than a hallucination, it is the manifestation of perceptual experiences...the past! This is the reason they say, ‘history repeats itself’. Human beings have become nothing more than a dimmed reflection of their previous selves. What they call life is more often than not, nothing more than a hallucination! This hallucination is not separate from the True Self, but it is lost in the mirror maze of identity, allowing every experience, word, and thought to shape the manifestation. This is why humans age the way they do. By the time we reach the age of three, we’ve already swallowed the lie of aging, hook, line and sinker. We’ve observed a world were everyone ages and therefore as a reflection of our perceptual experiences, we age. We have the power to “age” much differently than we do. You see, age is just the linear tool we use to measure our time on Earth; while aging is the process of dying. What if aging was a word synonymous with evolving? AGELESS BODY - TIMELESS MIND COURSE A Bee works symbiotically with the Universe pollinating it, a Locust works in an antibiosis way, consuming everything in its path. Both the Bee and the Locust do what they are programmed to do. As the manifestation of gods in the Universe we have the power to do good or evil, to work for or against; we have the power to think, adapt and change. But it is this very thinking that often works against the inner flow of Divinity that rises from our belly. “from his belly will flow rivers of living water.” The logical mind works in accordance with the past. The intuitive mind or Spirit flows effortlessly as a present awareness. The logical mind is what introduced conditional love. When it’s in my best interest, I love you. If you do this I love you, if you do that, I won’t. Unconditional love is what effortlessly flows from the belly or spirit, it says I love you period; no ifs, ands or buts. The logical mind comes with emotional attachments. The intuitive mind abides in the Space the logical mind would refer to as freedom. The logical mind is identified by past experience and attaches to the people, places, and things associated with them. These attachments are the cause of misery, therefore we might just say that misery exists in the logical mind. The intuitive mind on the other hand is fully present in the Eternal Now, and therefore has nothing to attach too. Like a flower blooming in the morning sun, the intuitive mind is a present unfolding. Unhindered by personal narrative, the intuitive mind or kainos mind is a brand new expression in every moment!
